Serge Ibaka is a Congolese-Spanish basketball player. He plays in the NBA, and was part of the Spanish national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Serge was born in Brazzaville, the son of Désiré Ibaka and Amadou Djonga. His parents were professional basketball players, his father for the Republic of the Congo and his mother for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, or Congo-Kinshasa. He was naturalized a Spanish citizen in 2011.
Serge has a daughter. He is related to Romanian television host Cabral Ibacka.
