Jericho Rosales is a Filipino actor, singer, songwriter, and film producer. He is known as “Asian Drama King” and “Echo.”

His father, Santiago Raranga Rosales, Jr., is from Manila, of Pangasinan and possibly Ilocano descent. His mother, Rosario Vibar, is Bicolano, from Iriga, Camarines Sur. He was partly raised in Bula, Camarines Sur, where he learned to speak Rinconada Bikol. Jericho is married to British-born Australian digital creative, social media fashion influencer, blogger, stylist, designer, and photographer Kim Jones. He has a son with his former partner Kai Palomares.

Some sources state that Jericho is of Spanish descent. It is not clear if this Spanish ancestry has been verified/documented.

Jericho’s paternal grandfather is Santiago Javier Rosales (the son of Emilio Rosales y Alzate, or Emilio Alzate Rosales in Filipino, and of Antonina Javier y Gonzáles, or Antonina Gonzáles Javier in Filipino). Emilio was the son of Domingo Rosales and María Salud Javier. Antonina was the daughter of Telésforo Javier and Macaria Gonzáles.

Jericho’s paternal grandmother is Celestina Fernandez Raranga (the daughter of Juan Raranga and María Fernández).
