Change “Indian” to “Punjabi.” Tandon is a Punjabi name.
She is the daughter of Christine Ann (Illig) and Hans-Peter Tandon.

If anyone is interested, here is a lecture from Daya’s grandmother about her life as a German war refugee. Truly an amazing story:

She reminds me of Nasim Pedrad.
On Spotify if you read the “behind the lyrics” of Don’t Let Me Down it says at 1:04 “She told Kiss 95: ‘My heritage is Indian and German.'”
Where does German and Irish come from?
I’m not sure. On the Spotify app, it said on he behind the lyrics section of Don’t Let Me Down, it’s states that she told Kiss 95 that she had Indian and German ancestry.
