Wolfgang Novogratz is an American actor and model. His films include Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, Yes, God, Yes; The Last Summer, The Half of It, and Feel the Beat.

His parents are interior designers Robert and Cortney Novogratz, who hosted reality show 9 By Design. His uncle is billionaire investor Michael Novogratz, and his aunt is entrepreneur and author Jacqueline Novogratz. Among Wolfgang’s siblings are model Bellamy Novogratz, actress and writer Tallulah Novogratz, and actor and musician Breaker Novogratz.

Wolfgang’s paternal grandfather is football player Bob Novogratz (born Robert Martin Novogratz, the son of Frank J. Novogratz/Novogoritz and Stella R. Jaksits/Yaksitz). Bob was born in Pennsylvania. Frank was born in St. Kathrein, Burgenland, Austria, the son of Frank Novogratz and Mary Hendler. Stella was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, to parents from Burgenland, Andreas “Andrew” Jaksits/Yaksitz and Anna/Annie Jandrisovitz/Yandrisevits/Jandrisovits/Jandrisevits. She likely was of Croatian descent.

Wolfgang’s paternal grandmother is Barbara Anne Bennett (the daughter of John Sinsel Bennett and Loretta Struth). Barbara was born in New York. John was the son of Dr. Edward Carlin Bennett, whose father was Irish, and whose mother was of half Cajun/French descent; and of Ellen Agnes Boyce, whose parents were Irish. Wolfgang’s great-grandmother Loretta was the daughter of Frederick M. Struth, whose parents were German, and of Margaret Theresa Madden, whose parents were Irish.

Wolfgang’s maternal grandfather is Roger Lamar Beck (the son of Roger Dillard Beck and Joyce McComrich Turner). Wolfgang’s great-grandfather Roger was born in Georgia, the son of Alonzo Clarence Beck and Annie Newton Allen. Joyce was born in Missouri, the daughter of Charlie Turner and Alice Irvin.

Wolfgang’s maternal grandmother is Sandra Jean Parsley (the daughter of Charles Owsley Parsley and Cynthia Melba Street). Charles was the son of Robert N. Parsley and Lula M. Brown. Cynthia was the daughter of Hugh Street and Fannie Murdock.

    BTW, Burgenland coupled with the name given is a dead giveaway. There is an entire miniority group there refered to as Burgenland Croats. Apparently, they fled the Turks in their lands and that’s how they ended up on the edges of Austria.

    Stella Yaksitz was likely entirely or partly Croatian or Hungarian (probably the former). Their surnames + the region in Austria they’re from indicate that.
