Victoria Tennant is an English film and television actress. Her father, Cecil Tennant, was a British producer, of English and Scottish ancestry. Her mother, Irina Mikhailovna Baronova, was a Russian prima ballerina, with Russian, and likely some German, roots.

Victoria was married to actor-comedian Steve Martin from 1986 to their divorce in 1994.

Victoria’s paternal grandparents were Gilbert Edward Tennant (the son of Robert Tennant and Henrietta Garnett) and Helen Garnett (the daughter of Thomas Garnett and Fanny Riley).

Victoria’s maternal grandparents were Mikhail Fedorovich Baronov (son of Fedor Baronov and Varvara) and Lydia Alexandrovna Veshnyakova (the daughter of Alexander Vesnyakov and Eugenia Engalicheva-Engels). “Engels” is a German surname, and Eugenia went to a German school, which could mean that she also had German ancestry. The rest of Victoria’s mother’s family was Russian.
