    Follers, I promise I am not joking that Tom Glavine has English ancestry. William Towle (Tom’s great-grandfather) was born in England to English parents, according to records. BTW I believe Tom Glavine’s paternal grandfather Thomas Glavine was the son of David Glavine and Margaret Byrne.

    The book Beyond DiMaggio: Italian Americans in Baseball doesn’t say that he has Italian ancestry.
