Tia Mowry-Hardrict, also credited as Tia Mowry, is an American actress and model.

She was born in Germany, while her parents served in the U.S. army. Her father, Timothy John Mowry, who is from Worcester, Massachusetts, is white, and has Irish, and smaller amounts of English and Scottish, ancestry. Her mother, Darlene Renee Flowers, who is from Miami, Florida, is black, of African-Bahamian descent. Her father was later a custody officer and jailer in Glendale, California, where the family moved. Her siblings are her twin Tamera Mowry-Housley, and younger brothers Tavior and Tahj Mowry. Tia has two children with her former husband, actor Cory Hardrict.

Tia’s patrilineal line can be traced to Roger Mowrey, who was born, c. 1610, in Herne Hill, London, Middlesex, England.

Tia’s paternal grandfather was Mahlon Henry Mowry (the son of George Rodney Mowry and Isabella/Isabel/Isabelle May Ferguson). Mahlon was born in Providence, Providence Co., Rhode Island. George was the son of George McKay Mowry and Sarah Jane Crocker, who was born in New Brunswick, Canada, to an Irish mother. Tia’s great-great-great-grandfather, Russell Mowry, had three grandparents surnamed Mowry. Tia’s great-grandmother Isabelle was the daughter of William Ferguson, who was from Vermont, and of Mary Gleason, who was Irish.

Tia’s paternal grandmother was Bernice I. O’Halloran (the daughter of Thomas Francis O’Halloran and Mary Lillian McLachlan/McLachlen). Bernice was born in Massachusetts, to parents who were born in Providence, Providence Co., Rhode Island. Thomas was the son of Irish parents, John J. O’Halloran and Bridget Ryan. Mary was the daughter of John McLachlan, who was born in Canada, to an Irish mother; and of Emma Vigeant/Vigant, whose father was from Vermont and whose mother was Canadian.

Tia’s maternal grandfather was named James Calhoun Richardson.

Tia’s maternal grandmother was Cloretha/Cloreta/Clo Flowers (the daughter of Rolly/Rolle “Raleigh”/Riley/Raliegh Flowers and Cecelia/Cecile Campbell). Cloretha was born in Perrine, Miami-Dade, Florida, to Bahamian parents. Rolly was born on Andros Island, and was possibly the son of Joshua Cuthbert Flowers, from Exuma, and of Christiana Monica Hall. Joshua’s mother’s family, the Rolles, were owned by John Rolle, 1st Baron Rolle, on whose estate a significant slave rebellion occured in 1830. Tia’s great-grandmother Cecelia was born on Tarpum Bay, Eleuthera Island.

A DNA test whose results were displayed on the show The Real (2016) stated that Tia’s sister, Tamera’s, genetic ancestry is:

*53% European
——–*21% British
——–*12% Irish
——–*8% Iberian Peninsula
——–*5% Western European
——–*7% other European
*45% Sub-Saharan African
——–*22% Ivory Coast and Ghana
——–*10% Cameroon and Congo
——–*9% Mali
——–*4% other African

Tia’s sister Tamera has also said that she has over 40% “English & Irish” ancestry.

A DNA test whose results were displayed on the show Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. (2023) stated that Tia’s sister Tamera’s genetic ancestry consists of:

*24% Scotland
*17% Cameroon, Congo, & Western Bantu
*15% Ireland
*15% Nigeria
*6% England & Northwestern Europe
*8% Benin + Togo
*3% Senegal
*2% Mali

Dark ladies can make babies albino with to dark parents why African American people can do that I have no idea but they can now whites can not make a black child unless one of the parents are white ( blacks come white to the darkest and they are all still black) with two black parents that had some mixing during slavery that’s how it is
