Thomas Bangalter is a French musician, record producer, singer, songwriter, DJ, and composer. He was one half of the French house music duo Daft Punk, alongside Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. He is the son of songwriter and producer Daniel Vangarde (Bangalter) and choreographer Thérèse Thoreux.

Thomas is married to actress Élodie Bouchez, with whom he has two children.

Thomas is likely the great-grandson of Moshe Bankhalter Bangalter and Charna Tsharna Beinstock. Leon was the son of Polish Jewish parents. Moshe was born in Wlodawa, the son of Slomo/Salomon/Szlomo Bankhalter and Haia/Chemka. Charna was born in Bielce.

      i see you added the genealogy here, but Leon Bankhalter Bangalter couldn’t be his paternal grandfather, since he died 4 years before his father Daniel was born, so he was probaby Thomas’s paternal uncle-grandfather unless his year of death is false
