Theodore Melfi is an American screenwriter, film director, and producer. He has directed the films St. Vincent, which he wrote; Winding Roads and Hidden Figures, both of which he co-wrote; and The Starling. He also wrote the film remake Going in Style (2017) and co-wrote El Camino Christmas.
He has said that his father was born in Italy. He added that his father was in the mob at one point, and his mother was a former nun.
Theodore is married to actress, writer, and film producer Kimberly Quinn, his co-writer on his debut Winding Roads.
