The Andrews Sisters were an American close harmony singing group. They were popular during the swing and boogie-woogie eras. They consisted of real life sisters LaVerne Andrews, Maxene Andrews, and Patty Andrews.

Their father, Peter Andreos/Andrews, was Greek. Their mother, Olga Bergliot Pedersdatter “Ollie” Sollie, was Norwegian.

LaVerne was married to trumpet player Lou Rogers, until her death. Maxene was married to music publisher Lou Levy, who was the Sisters’ manager, with whom she had two children. Patty was married to pianist Walter Weschler, who was the trio’s pianist, until his death.

The Andrews Sisters’ maternal grandfather was Per/Peter Pedersen Sollie (the son of Peder Evensen Sollie and Petronelle Christensdatter Hallen). The Andrews Sisters’ grandfather Per was born in Røros, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. The Andrews Sisters’ great-grandfather Peder was the son of Even Olsen Sollie and Berit Pedersdtr. Sund.

The Andrews Sisters’ maternal grandmother was Sophie/Sophia Pedersdatter Haave/Howe (the daughter of Peder Olsen Haave and Kari Pålsdatter Hårstad). Sophie was born in Haave, Selbu, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway.
