Susan Collins is an American politician. A Republican, she has served as a U.S. Senator from Maine, since January 3, 1997. Her parents, Patricia (McGuigan) and Donald Collins, have both served as Mayor of her hometown of Caribou, Maine.

Susan’s mother was born in Barranca-Bermeja, Colombia, to American parents.

Susan is married to Thomas Daffron, the CEO of Jefferson Consulting Group.

Susan’s paternal grandfather was Samuel Wilson Collins (the son of Herschel Douglas Collins and Freda C. Files). Samuel was born in Maine. Herschel was the son of Samuel Wilson Collins and Dorcas S. Hardison.

Susan’s paternal grandmother was Elizabeth Ellen/L. Black (the daughter of Almon Herbert Black and Theresa/Teresa/Tressa A. Findlen). Elizabeth was born in Maine. Almon was the son of Josiah S. Black and Eunice B. Theresa’s parents were Irish.

Susan’s maternal grandfather was named Joseph James McGuigan (the son of Harry M. McGuigan and Sarah). Joseph was born in New Jersey. Harry was the son of George McGuigan and Amanda.

    I think this is her grandmother and that she was the daughter of John James Foskett, of Hanley, Staffordshire, and Mabel Post. This Helen was also married to a McGuigan, has lived in NJ, and is of right age.
