Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, also known as Sophie Grégoire, is a Canadian television host. She is the First Lady of Canada, as the wife of Justin Trudeau, who has been Prime Minister of Canada, since November 4, 2015. The couple has three children.

Sophie is the daughter of Estelle Blais, a nurse, and Jean Grégoire, a stockbroker.

Sophie’s paternal grandfather is Jacques Gregoire (the son of Marie-Louis Gregoire and Julia Cote). Marie-Louis was the son of Godfroi Gregoire and Marie-Louise-Zenaide Savoie. Julia was the daughter of Jules-Michel Cote and Albina Cote.

Sophie’s paternal grandmother was Madeleine Lampron (the daughter of Ephrem Lampron and Bernadette Bronsard). Ephrem was the son of Napoleon Lampron and Apolline Descôteaux. Bernadette was the daughter of Germain Bronsard and Marie Trudel.

Sophie’s maternal grandfather was Gerard Blais (the son of Cleophas Blais and Dona Gauvreau). Gerald was born in Ottawa, Ontario. Cleophas was the son of Cleophas Blais and Emma Gariépy. Dona was the daughter of Hormidas Gauvreau and Elizabeth Carter.
