Murda Beatz is a Canadian record producer, DJ, and songwriter. He is also known as Young Murda and Murda I.

Murda’s paternal grandfather was Leland Wilhelm “Lee” Lindstrom (the son of Claud Wilhelm Lindstrom and Annie Myrtle Draper). Leland was born in Crystal Beach, Niagara, Ontario. Claud was born in Minnesota, the son of Olof Wilhelm Lindstrom, who was of Swedish origin, and of Maud May Hainer, who was from Ontario. Annie was the daughter of William Reeve Draper, from Iowa, U.S., and of Mary Charlotte Wellsby.

Murda’s paternal grandmother was Irene Mary David (the daughter of Alex David and Ethel Petro). Irene was born in Plunkett, Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada, to parents from Mezőtur, Jász-Nagy-Kun-Szolnok, Hungary. Alex was the son of Adam David and Juliana Molnar.
