Michael Parks was an American singer and actor. His father was baseball player Harry Arthur Parks. He was married to Oriana Parks, until his death. He had two children, including James Parks, who is also an actor.

Michael’s paternal grandfather was Silas Andrew Jackson Parks (the son of John Taylor Parks and Romancy Jane Miller). John was the son of William H. Parks and Sarah Taylor. Romancy was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Miller and Elizabeth Welch.
