Max’s maternal grandfather was Jacob “Jack” Rudman (the son of Pinchas “Max” Rudman and Faiga Malka “Fannie” Marder). Jacob was born in New York, to parents from Russia. Faiga was the daughter of Hairsch Volv ben Moisha Yitsic “Isaac” Marder and Sarah Zlotta Rudd.
