Marjorie Taylor Greene is an American politician, businessperson, and conspiracy theorist. A Republican, she has been a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Georgia, since January 3, 2021. She is also known as Marjorie Greene.

She has three children with her former husband Perry Greene. The couple ran the construction company founded by her father Robert Taylor.

She is an Evangelical Christian.

Marjorie’s paternal grandfather was Michael Kenneth Taylor (the son of William David Taylor and Marie/Mary Jeanne Minnie Turcotte/Turguot). Michael was born in River Rouge, Wayne, Michigan. William was born in Michigan, to Canadian parents, David Taylor and Celinda Myers/Meyers. Marie was born in Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Pierre Peter Turcotte, who was from Wolfe Island Township, Frontenac, and of Marie Jeanne Cadotte.

Marjorie’s paternal grandmother was Doris Maxine “Nan” Mahan (the daughter of Everett Melvin Mahan and Esther Marie Welsh). Doris was born in Darlington, Beaver, Pennsylvania.
