Marc Dupré is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and musician.

He is the son of Noëllyne Mimeault and Richard Louis Paul Dupré. Marc is married to Anne-Marie Angélil, whose father was musical producer, talent manager, and singer René Angélil. The couple has three children.

Marc’s paternal line can be traced back to his seventh great-grandfather, François Dupré.

Marc’s paternal grandfather is Gabriel Dupré (the son of Jean-Baptiste Dupré and Marie-Anna Élodie Langevin). Gabriel was born in Verchères, Québec. Jean-Baptiste was the son of Clément Dupré and Louise Leclerc. Anna was the daughter of Wilfrid Joseph Octave Langevin and Célina Dalpé.

Marc’s paternal grandmother is Thérèse Roy (the daughter of Anselme Roy and Mérilda Fournier). Thérèse was born in Saint-Marc-de-Figuery, Québec. Anselme was the son of Jean Roy and Philomène Bazin. Mérilda was the daughter of Didace Fournier and Philomène Hébert.

Marc’s maternal grandfather was Omer Mimeault (the son of Odilon Mimeault and Alphonsine Bélanger). Omer was born in Saint-Maxime-du-Mont-Louis, Québec. Odilon was the son of Sifroy Mimeault and Georgiana Côté. Sifroy’s maternal great-great-grandmother, Cécile-Marie Kaorate, was of 3/4 Algonquin First Nations descent. Georgiana’s maternal fifth great-grandfather, João Rodrigues (or Jean Rodrigue in French), was Portuguese, from Lisbon. Marc’s great-grandmother Alphonsine was the daughter of Pierre Bélanger and Alphonsine Marie Chouinard.

Marc’s maternal grandmother was Hectorine Marie Therrien (the daughter of Joseph William Therrien and Alphéda Savard). Hectorine was born in Tourelle, Québec. Joseph was the son of Jean “John/Johnny” Therrien and Anne Marie Dupuis. Alphéda was the daughter of Magloire Savard and Émérentienne Tremblay. Magloire’s maternal great-grandfather, Francesco Aprille (or François April in French), was Italian, from Genoa.

Marc’s maternal line can be traced to his eleventh great-grandmother, Catherine Vanier (c. 1624, Dieppe, Seine-Maritime, France – March 16, 1684, Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Québec).

Marc is a direct descendant of Zacharie Cloutier (c. 1590-1677), a prominent early Québec settler.
