Lynda Carter is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and model. She was crowned Miss World USA 1972. She is famous for her role as Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series.
Lynda is the daughter of Juanita (Cordova) and Colby Carl Carter. Her father had English, German, and Scots-Irish/Northern Irish ancestry, and her mother was of Mexican/Spanish-Mexican descent. Lynda is not able to speak Spanish fluently but can understand the language.
Lynda was married to business executive and lawyer Robert A. Altman, until his death, with whom she has two children.
Lynda’s paternal grandfather was Elijah Vincent Carter (the son of Marion Vincent Carter and Jennie Throughmann). Elijah was born in Illinois. Marion was the son of Isaac Carter and Sarah Jane Foreman.
Lynda’s paternal grandmother was named Doris Moss Slightam. Doris was born in Derbyshire, England.

Lynda Carter being half mexican surprised me, I always thought that Jane Kennedy should have been Wonder Women and they picked Lynda over her because she was black now I find out that she wasn’t even white.

It’s funny most people don’t know that Wonder Woman had a twin sister,named Nubia.Jane Kennedy could have played her,however Hollywood decided to make up another sister named Drusilla.
I’m proud to have Johnny Depp as a member of the African American Race I’m not surprise that a member of his family made history as being the first African American to free herself from slavery.

Actually Argentina all white your history lied to you and plus I am not American but Haitian Canadian. Your first president of Argentina was mixed mulatto and the Tango is a mixture of West Africa and Europe. Argentina is well known that is where majority of the racist Nazi`s landed in your country and Argentina took them in period. Also the black men were put in front to fight in wars for Argentina and so the Europeans got busy with the black women whitening of Argentina. Blacks were all over Argentina and Latin America now there are just part of the gene pool. Read your history through the eyes of Spain it well documate what happened in Argentina and how many slaver were brought to Argentina.
BTW Argentina is all white and in Latin America. In fact is whiter than the USA. NO blacks, Asians, or brown indians. Bet you didnt know that and is in Latin america. But again the USA education is one of the worse in the world LOL
That’s not even a fact. Argentina has a genetic Native American admixture of 20%. That means for every individual who’s 100% European, you may find another who’s 40% Native. In reality, Argentina has a mixture of Whites, Castizos and Mestizos (including some brown skinned individuals). Casstizos tend to have light skin so sometimes the Native admixture gets overlooked, but you can also see that influence in their appearance.
