Lou is the son of Linda Farver, a model and beauty queen, who was Miss Union County, and Louis Pucci, a guitarist for the bands The Watch and Leap of Faith. He was raised in Keansburg, New Jersey. His surname indicates at least partial Italian ancestry. His maternal great-grandfather was Danish. Lou attended a Catholic school.
