She has also been Minority Leader of the Arizona Senate, from January 5, 2015 to January 7, 2019, and Secretary of State of Arizona, from January 7, 2019 to January 2, 2023.
She was raised in Chandler, Arizona. She is married to Patrick Goodman, with whom she has two children.
