Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir is an Icelandic singer. She represented Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009, and was placed second. Her father, Jón Sverrir Sverrisson, is an electrical engineer. Her mother, Margrét Steindórsdóttir, is a nurse.

Jóhanna’s patrilineal ancestry can be traced back to her third great-grandfather, Guðmundur Jónsson.
