Jensen Ackles is an American actor, singer, producer, and director. He is known for his role on the show Supernatural and in the film My Bloody Valentine 3D.
He is the son of Donna and actor Alan Ackles (Roger Alan Ackles). Jensen is married to actress and model Danneel Ackles (previously Danneel Harris), with whom he has three children.
Jensen has German, English, and smaller amounts of Scottish and Irish, ancestry. Many of his ethnic German ancestors lived in Russia/Ukraine.
Jensen’s patrilineal line traces to James Ackles, who was born, c. 1726, in Ireland, and to James’s wife, Jean Bryant, who was born, c. 1730, in England.
Jensen’s paternal grandfather was Gene Spaulding Ackles (the son of Ralph Spaulding Ackles and Kathleen A. Rhule). Gene was born in West Virginia. Ralph was the son of Frank Oscar Ackles and Louise/Louisa Jane Hall. Kathleen was the daughter of Nathan Martin Rhule and Jessie M. Mankin.
Jensen’s paternal grandmother was named Dorothy Nell McNatt (the daughter of Floyd McNatt and Lillian B.). Dorothy was born in Texas. Floyd was the son of William John McNatt.
Jensen’s maternal grandfather was Carroll Logan Shaffer (the son of Carroll Shaffer and Della Logan). Jensen’s grandfather Carroll was born in Illinois. Jensen’s great-grandfather Carroll was the son of John Carroll/Charles Shaffer and Virginia M. Conser. White is not an ethnicity, and there is certainly a difference between them. There is little difference between a Scot and and Englishmen. But you’re insane if you can’t tell the difference between a Pole and a Swede, they have entirely different phenotypes and features in the face. A blonde pole will never look like a blonde Sweden. Germans overlap with the British genetically but the difference is Germans are more faelid and have more robust types with harsher faces same with austrians. You will never find a Brit who looks like Arnold Swarzenegger
Adding to that. White is a meaningless term. A term that gained popularity during colonial America. A term used to seperate Europeans from the indigenous populations and slave. However it means nothing genetically. An Italian and Brit are as far away from each other on genetic map as a Russian is to a Greek. White is as much a race as Latino is.
In fact you will hardly find an Austrian who looks like Schwarzenegger …

Nevertheless there are a number of regionally typical faces. If you know enough examples of those typical faces, you can very well tell an Irish from a German, a Swede or a Russian. Given someone has one of that typical faces …
Depending on my experience, he could as well be an English as a German or a Northern French, so he is probably English … O_o
“ihatemostpeople” – There is a big difference between most Irish and Germans. The Irish have some distinctive traits around the eyes, eyebrows, chin etc (as well as distinctive hair and eye colouring) that are quite obvious if you get to know them, and there are certain obvious Germanic looks. Most ethnic Brits are a bit more a mix of Celtic and Germanic blood (as well as others), so we are a bit less dsitinctive, although there are still lots of people from America that I’d say look British.
nnnnn Although there are a lot of similar looking people in Britain, Germany, Ireland, etc, there are some local traits. For example, there are some VERY noticeable Irish looks and if you come from Britain you can tell the difference. Some people in Britain look a bit German, but with less defined (or harsh) features, which probably comes from Britain being a bit more of a mix. Explaining the difference is hard without showing you hundreds of pictures.

Speaking as a Scot, he could easily pass for being Scottish. People down the East side of Scotland are ethnically a bit more Northern European with lighter hair and blue eyes.
