Jennifer Beals is an American actress and model. She is known for her roles in the movies Flashdance and Devil in a Blue Dress. Her father, Alfred Leroy Beals, was African-American. Her mother, Jeanne Anderson, was white, and had Irish ancestry. Jennifer is married to Canadian entrepreneur Ken Dixon, with whom she has a daughter.

I don’t know whats the problem with her being black. We are tired of the dumb standards on earth that white is better or any other race is better than black only because they’re different in looks, thats very stupid, and there will be a time and a place for those who Ridicule, harm, mock and manipulate black people, wait for it. why is it so bad to be black on earth, you treat them like there a horrible disease or something. “black dirty, black ugly, black this, black that, black, black, black”. who set the standard that tarnish their image?! for all the hurt and embarrassment, there has to be something very good thats going to happen for them, for being so hated on earth. Everybody in this cursed world originated from Blacks so hating them is like hating on your parents. Respect and you’ll get Respect back!!

I always thought she would have some spanish or filipino in her, don’t know why, but african american is a surprise! I guess she got more of her mother’s side and her dad’s. I never would have guessed it! nice combo, she’s gorgeous.
you’d be amazed how many people are of African American descent. During the early 1900s THOUSANDS of people of African descent moved to the North and assimilated into the white race. It’s called “passing”. They just disappeared.
You can´t pass for white if you LOOK white. As it has been discussed, there is scientifically no such thing as race, everyone is mixed with something, and if you are white looking with african ancestry then that´s exactly what you are, white with african ancestry.
