Jam was the son of Maria Carmen “Maricar” Fernando and Vilmo Sebastian. He was the younger brother of internet personality, YouTuber, curator, and dancer Yexel Sebastian.

Jam’s paternal grandfather was Aguedo Perez Sebastián (the son of Severino Sebastián y de los Santos and Lucila Pérez). Aguedo was born in Bustos, Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines. Severino was the son of Ignacio Sebastián and María de los Santos. Lucila was the daughter of Crisanta Pérez.

Jam’s paternal grandmother was Rosa Santos Flores (the daughter of Magno Flores and Paula Santos). Rosa was born in Brgy. San Agustin, Hagonoy, Bulacan, Central Luzon, Philippines.
