what fraction is considered remote? what fraction is considered distant?

    • Oaken05 says:

Because of how many editors the site appears to have, there is no consisten definition of these terms. I do wish there was, though.

      • follers says:

Only two people can edit this site, and I don’t think one of them adds “distant” or “remote” much.

          (1) follers (2) ethnic. thank you follers for pointing this out. it’s sad that people can’t realize that equals “two” editors on this site.

It’s so sad that the third editor, Neiltennant, has left. He was the only one who knew that Summer Glau is 1/8th Chinese. And now when he’s gone, the site just help to cover up the truth.

          • andrew says:

he was unlucky with his background (Afghans have low IQ and high crime rate in Western societies), but Summer Glau do look Eurasian. It can happen.

Problem is, it’s usually people of colonial descent that have these in-depth trees where people find their French Huguenot and Dutch ancestors. And it’s usually through more than one line, but from 17th and 18th century. So if you were to quantify it, it would be like 73/8192 or some ridiculous number like that, while being of no significance to their recent ancestors.

Also, any idea on the ethnicity of actor Chance Perdomo? I know he’s Afro-Latino but, again, not sure of the exact ethnicity.

  3. callmecharlie says:

Anyone have any clue of the ethnicity of actor Patrick Davis (there are apparently two Patrick’s so I thought I’d clarify by saying the one from From Dusk Til Dawn and Shameless)? I know he is Hispanic/Latino but I’m not sure exactly what ethnicity. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone know anything about the ancestry of British actor Russell Tovey? What I can find is that his mother’s maiden name was originally Webb, and that “Tovey” is actually the name of his step-father who adopted him. But I’m not even sure about that. Webb seems to be an old Anglo-Norman name that is mainly English and which spread as far north as Scotland. So I’d bet his mother is English going back many centuries.

Has he ever revealed anything about his birth-father?

Honestly, who ever moderates this site, it’s long past time to ban this racist troll “Jacklyn 224,” who has become a complete distraction from the purpose of the site.
