I will try finding more detailed information into celebrity background. Also Terrell Davis is a celeb he is a HOF in Canton, Ohio and played with my idol John Elway winning Super Bowls. It’s not his fault it is all on bigstock for not wanting to have a picture of him

If country of origin or ancestry is unknown it should say that, and not revert to color.
You don’t revert to white or brown or yellow or red or green or blue for other people.
Black is short hand, pretty much everyone knows it has the equivalent meaning of being from Sub-Saharan African decent. I guess if you want to be more exacting/specific, you’re correct, black shouldn’t be used as a designation, but I don’t think most people care.
