Gary Vaynerchuk, or Garyvee, is an American entrepreneur, New York Times bestselling author, and internet personality.

Gary was born in Babruysk, Belarus, then part of the Soviet Union, the son of Tamara and Sasha. His family is Jewish. He moved to the U.S. with his family when he was three years old in 1978, settling in Queens, New York City, New York, and also living in Edison, New Jersey. He is able to speak some Russian.
