Fabolous
Birth Name: John David Jackson
Place of Birth: Brooklyn, New York City, New York, U.S.
Date of Birth: November 18, 1977
Ethnicity: African-Dominican Republic, African-American
Fabolous is an American rapper and hip hop recording artist. He is also known as Fabolous Sport and Loso.
73 percent of the population of the Dominican Republic is of mixed race, primarily a mix of black and white.
Fabolous has three children with his partner Emily Bustamante.
His race is 100% black, HOWEVER, his ethnicity is half African-American and half Afro-Latin. A lot of you dummies need to learn the difference between race and ethnicity. All black people in the U.S. do not have the same ethnicity.
sounds like to me alot of Latinas up in here looking for reasons to rationalize picking morenos over men that share the same nationality they do. I realize there are black and white Hispanics, but don’t act like black folk in America care about speaking Spanish, chicharons, empanadas, Salsa/Bachata/Raggaeton, Latin culture in general. If you Latinas out there like black dick and you want to procreate with them, go ahead. Just know that you are slowly wiping out the Latin side of your family tree, if your babies go on to breed with black women/men, kiss your Hispanic bloodline goodbye. Because the “one drop rule” is still in full effect.
Perhaps some Moreno’s that you’ve been exposed to fall into this category. But it’s a prejudiced sterotype, I know many Black men who have totally embraced their all aspect of their Latina mate’s culture. Language, cuisine, and entertainment, included. My question to you is if your feelings would be the same if a Latin woman partners with a man of another race, who has no regard for her culture, is she still a sellout? You should concern yourself with who you’re with, who another human partners with is their business. Regarding the “one drop rule”. First it’s B/S, it had nothing to do with race! It was a business decision…If any white man in the US, impregnated a slave, then declaring the offspring a slave, basically meant that the slave’s owner just got a freebie..
Man you sound like my mom n dad! my whole family is from Honduras (mom n dads side) and we all “Hispanic” (we also got European-Spanish and Native Central Americans in our blood) n they think i am ruining it because my man is Full Haitian coming from a traditional Haitian family. i am probably breaking that line of true Honduran blood that they where trying to make (being impossible cuz im A+ blood type meaning i got every race). any ways it was bound to happen, we all gonna become mix.Better that way i think. now u know for sure u not loving on your long lost cousin or something if he or she is from a whole other race. Oh and he is embracing Latin culture, hes even speaking some Spanish n practicing it.
I can’t stand ignorance. A lot of spanish speaking countries with people of color hate to admit that they are black. If im a jamaican and im black does that not make me a black jamaican?..im tired of people from honduras or DR or PR acting like they’re not black just because they speak spanish. Black people come in so many shades and nationalities..we all have a mix.
I am full Dominican. I have cousins that are darker than fabolous. We are very proud of our culture. If you don’t know anything about the Dominican Republic, don’t bother posting anything.
haha , it’s fuuny . you quys are soo fucking ingorant . my boyfriend is fully dominancan , hispanic , speak spanish and everything . his father is spaniard , andd his darker than me and im african american ! i went to the dr with him and saw alot of dark skinned dominicans . half of them ddint notice that i wasnt dominican until i tried to speak spanish .
