His maternal grandparents were Polish Jewish immigrants. His father is also of Polish Jewish descent.
Daniel’s paternal grandfather was Samuel Dale (the son of Moshe Morris/Moszek Dombrofsky and Bracha/Brucha Keshenberg). Moshe was born in Poland, the son of Yeshua Nathan Jona Dombrowski. Bracha was born in Łagów, Mazovia, Poland, the daughter of Israel Avraham Keshenberg.
Daniel’s paternal grandmother was named Tillie Moskowitz.
Daniel’s maternal grandfather was Joseph/Yosef Aryeh Erlich (the son of Hersh/Tzvi Baruch Erlich and Zlata Czarna Fink).
