Another link to historical figures you did not know were black

    • andrew says:

Actually a few of of these “historical figures” were partially black but Afrocentrism is comical

    • follers says:

What was the name of Clark Gable’s black ancestor? What was the name of Clark Gable’s Native American ancestor?

Gable’s ancestry is pretty well documented. I don’t really see how he could have had African-American or Native American ancestry.

This link is full of errors (who was Beethoven’s Moorish ancestor? What is the genealogical link between Jackie Kennedy and Anthony Janszoon van Salee?).

This is one link but there are many many other links on google that says Clark Cable was part black

“Another light-skinned actor who refused to `pass` was Lorenzo Tucker known as `the black Valentino`. Tucker was actually lighter than Valentino and bears more of a resemblance to Clark Gable”

is it enough to say he was part black?

          • midori29 says:

@Andrew its quite foolish to stereotype that all real black people are dark skinned. My mothers has a friend whose daughter looks like the female version of that man and her grandfather is 100% white. There are alot of dark skinned mixed peoples. Skin tone is the LEAST determinant of racial admixture.

          • andrew says:

I know but most blacks you see in Europe are like that because they’re not mixed

          • deluci says:

Out of all the black people in the world you choose to pick a criminal? And also use the image of a black man with a gun to portray ‘a real black person?’ Not cool.

In regards to your generalized comment about black people in Europe not being ‘mixed’, i can assure as a European (and you may also be) i have seen a range of skin colors in people of African descent, mixed or not.

Stick to what you know Andrew.

          • memphis says:

Hahaha!! I have to laugh Andrew… that is such a prejudiced way of interpreting “blackness”. Comparing Tucker to that French Senegalese Terrorist is vile. There is no percentage of dna that makes one “black”. Lorenzo Tucker would be labelled a ” high yella” just like civil rights activist, Adam Clayton Powell, or Supreme Court Justice, Thurgood Marshall. Just because some of their ancestors aren’t African doesn’t mean that they didn’t experience discrimination or prejudice because they have lighter skin. How do you define “a real black person”?

          • andrew says:

            @ deluci
I picked him to show the difference between a West African and an African-American, not the most politically correct example but that’s it. And yeah there are lot of mixed ppl in France and UK, and you know how they look.

          • midori29 says:

@Andrew, I do not know why you picked Mario Ballotelli as the sole look, there are 100% Africans with different looks and lighter skin than Mario.

          • midori29 says:

@Andrew there are some African Americans who look like Mario Ballotelli

          • midori29 says:

@Andre , you have the Internet, there is no one look to a West African. West Africa is a HUGE territory made up of many countries and facial types, skin tones and hair types. You cant mentally convince yourself of what a real West African looks like. Its like saying real whites only have blonde hair and blue eyes. These people are West African too.

          • andrew says:

Tuaregs are not your average West African, they have a lot North Afrincan influence that’s why they look so Caucasoid as your pics show

          • midori29 says:

@andre, its racist to say what a typical West African looks like and for some reason you dont realize you are being racist. It does not matter what Influence Tuaregs have or not, they are still West African.
If you take the narrow stereotype on West Africans then you have to say any white person without stick fine straight blonde hair and blue eyes has Asian or African influence.

          • andrew says:

It’s not about stereotypes, picking Tuaregs as West African example is ridiculous when the average is

I read in anrticle that Clark Cable was mixed with African and Native American and he did not allow white only restrooms on the movie set. He was a passing colored mullato.
