  2. BIG PAC says:

her mother was hispanic of mestizo decent. so she wasn’t white.
she came out looking more like her father.

    • anen87 says:

Correction: her mother is half english herself making her not a mestizo but a castizo, a more european than the average population; So it’s no surprise Christy came out white looking…

      • Andrew133 says:

there are mestizos who look more european than many spanish people, personally I know mexican mestizo who has around 50% indian heritage and he has green eyes and brown hair

        • passingtime85 says:

Your acquaintance has more European in him than he’s aware of. It’s not uncommon for people to be mistaken about their roots. My mother always thought she was 75% native, turns out she’s only 66%.

So, I’m a 3rd indigenous, I’ve grown up with people with indigenous heritage around me, throughout my life.

When someone has indigenous roots ranging 50%, or above, you don’t end up looking more European than Spaniards.

Some mixed people (which is rare) look either totally black, white, asian and so forth. Like Kimora, she looks totally Asian. I would classify her as Asian, because if she was in a group with Full blooded Asian you could not tell if she was mixed. And that is how the world really looks at it, plain and simple. Just like President Obama, he looks totally Black, and he knows it. So it would be stupid for him to run around talking about I am mixed. He has the sense to know how the world sees him, and it is not about denying one side over the other

    • George says:

I agree, my mom is white and my dad is black native american and white. I myself look more white and ive always felt blacks and whites have classified me as white. Same with my sister. Its whatever though, at the end of the day were all humans right?

  4. Steve says:

First of all, yes her mom is from El Salvador from english descent. that doesnt mean that she is fully white, if your born in Latin America your latin american. You never know if her mom is mixed, most likely yes cause she doesnt look fully white either. Latino is a ethnicity not a race, a latino can be of any race: white, black, asian etc… My family is european, ameridian, black and middle eastern from El Salvador and our skin color is way different from each other.

  5. Johanvelas says:

it’s true not all salvadoran people are tan, my family are light skin and i even have cousins with blue eyes, green eyes, blonde hair and i have one with red hair. When i went to El Salvador this summer i met a lot of people who were light skinned and they were from indian descent.
