Blaise Matuidi is a French international footballer. He played as a midfielder, and was with Troyes, Saint-Étienne, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, and Inter Miami.

He is the son of Élise and Faria Rivelino. His father is Angolan and his mother is Congolese. His mother has been described as being of French descent, however, this is not correct. His parents moved to Zaïre, now République Démocratique du Congo, because of the civil war. As a result, Blaise is fluent in Lingala but not in Portuguese. He was raised in Fontenay-sous-Bois.
