Anthony Scaramucci is an American political figure, financier, and entrepreneur. A Republican, he was White House Communications Director, from July 21, 2017 to July 31, 2017.

Anthony is the son of Marie/Mary D. (DeFeo) and Alessandro “Alexander, Jr.” Scaramucci. All of Anthony’s grandparents were born in Italy. He was raised in Port Washington, Long Island. Anthony has five children, three with his first wife Lisa Miranda, and two with his second wife Deidre Ball.

Anthony’s paternal grandfather was named Alessandro/Alexander Scaramucci (the son of Giovanni/John Scaramucci). Alessandro was from Nasciano, near Gualdo Tadino, Province of Perugia, Umbria.
