Ann Marie Buerkle is an American politician. A member of the Republican/Conservative Party of New York, she has been a Commissioner, U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, since July 23, 2013. She was previously a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives, from January 3, 2011 to January 3, 2013.

She was married to August R. Buerkle, with whom has six children.

Ann Marie is the daughter of Sadie M. (Fiduccia) and Alfred D. “Al” Colella. All of her grandparents were born in Italy.

Ann Marie’s paternal grandparents were Domenico/Dominick Colella and Antonetta. Dominick was born in San Salvatore, Province of Benevento, Campania, Italy. Antonetta was also born in Italy.

Ann Marie’s maternal grandparents were Carmelo Fiduccia (the son of Salvatore Fiduccia and Rosalia Salena) and Cira “Sarah” Durante (the daughter of Salvatore Durante and Fortunata Calderone). Carmelo was from Marineo, Province of Palermo, Sicily, Italy. Cira was also born in Italy.
