Alicia Keys is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. She is also known as Lellow.

Alicia’s father, Craig Cook, is African-American, and Alicia’s mother, Terri (Augello), is white. Alicia’s maternal grandfather was of Italian/Sicilian descent, while Alicia’s maternal grandmother was of English, Irish, and Scottish ancestry, with several of her family lines leading back to Connecticut of the 1600s. Alicia is married to hip hop recording artist and record producer Swizz Beatz, with whom she has two children.

Alicia has stated that as she grew up in New York she never had to experience feeling “not Black enough” or “not White enough.” However, she became comfortable with her biracial heritage as it allows her to relate to different cultures. She has said, “A lot of people believe I’m part Jamaican, though I’m not. I’m definitely black and Italian and a little Irish or Scottish.”

Alicia’s paternal grandfather is named Michael Cook.

Alicia’s maternal grandfather was Joseph Lawrence Augello (the son of Michelangelo/Michael Angelo Augello and Mary Carmen Zaffina). Joseph was born in Pennsylvania, to Italian parents. Alicia’s great-grandfather Michael was from Sciacca, Province of Agrigento, Sicily. Alicia’s great-grandmother Mary was the daughter of Giuseppe Zaffina and Rosa Scardamaglia, from Nicastro and Sambiase, now Lamezia Terme, Province of Catanzaro, Calabria.

Alicia’s maternal grandmother was Donna Jean Smith (the daughter of Thad T. Smith and Irma Margaret Heald). Donna was born in Michigan. Thad was the son of Henry Harrison Smith and Mary S. Jordan. Irma was the daughter of George Webster Heald and Margaret Ruxton. Alicia’s grandmother Donna’s ancestry was largely English, with many roots in New England, going back to the 1600s, and some ancestors who lived in Canada. She also had Irish and Scottish ancestry.

Her bone structure? Don’t Mediterranean Europeans have the same bone structure as North European? LOL

Please go to http://www.education.makemeheal.com and type in Alicia Keys in the Search box. Her original nose was huge. She probably had at least 2 nose jobs to get to her current nose. I hate the hypocrisy when celebrities and famous personalities like Alicia Keys, Cicely L. Tyson, Beyonce, Kelly Rowland and Serena Williams act like they are Afro-centric sometimes. However, they all have plastic surgery to try to get rid of their African features. I suspect that Lupita Nyong’o MIGHT start changing her skin color, nose and hair texture soon too. Hopefully not, though. They probably pray that these African features do not manifest themselves in their children. Genes and Nature rule though.

Yes it is possible, but in this case there’s no telling for sure. Nose, face format as well as skin and eyes tone, change over the years, especially if compare with childhood or adolescence. Somepeoples change fully, other look alike from childhood to old age. Looking at photos of family I can hardly recognize my grandmother, daughter of parent african light-skinned descendants, had its totally obvious dark side with your brown skin, upper lips and lower fleshy, nose some swollen, face more fat and the hair completely curly, until their 20s it looked blacker than Muhammad there and today, at 70, it is less evident than him. Already in her 40s she was a completely different person like it is today, with skin be less dark, wide nostrils, but less swollen and something like pointy ,the cheekbones and apples much more prominent and absolutely thin lips. Only the hair has not changed and how it has always been very poor, a traditional women’s fields in Brazil and without vanity could never have passed or plastic surgery.
Alicia changes are very mild and in the process of physical changes to make sure that it actually operated the nose or like this.
It is also not advisable to take pictures of people who are grinning and compares them with them serious, who don’t was your case.
