Adam West was an American actor. He is known for playing Batman in the 1960s television series and film, and for voicing Mayor West, who was named after him, on the series Family Guy.
He was the son of Audrey Volenne Flothow and Otto West Anderson. He was married to Marcelle Tagand Lear, until his death. He had two children with his former wife, Tahitian dancer Ngahra Frisbie Dawson; and two children with Marcelle.
Adam’s paternal grandfather was Jöns Peter “John” Anderson (the son of Anders/Andrew Bengtsson/Bangston and Boel/Bula Johansdotter/Johnston). Jöns was born in Östra Ramlösa, Malmöhus Skåne län, Sweden. Boel was the daughter of Johan Pålsson and Karna Mikelsdotter.
Adam’s paternal grandmother was Anna Fredrika/Fredricka Gamberg (the daughter of Gustof Nilson Gamberg and Anna Lisa Danielsdotter). Adam’s grandmother Anna was born in Kråksmåla, Kalmar län, Sweden. Yip. Adam West IS Batman as far as I’m concerned. I have always preferred the tongue in cheek cartoon style of his shows to the dark gloomy films that followed.
