Zakk Wylde is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is the lead singer, guitarist, and pianist of rock band Black Label Society.

Zakk is married to Barbaranne, with whom he has four children.

Zakk has Irish ancestry, and was brought up a Catholic. Many sources state that he was born Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt. Official records lists him as Zachary Phillip Wylde, although he might have changed his name. If this is correct, his birth surname suggests German ancestry as well.
