Viveca Lindfors was a Swedish-American actress. Her roles include the films Night Unto Night, No Sad Songs for Me, Dark City, The Halliday Brand, King of Kings, An Affair of the Skin, Creepshow, The Sure Thing, and Stargate.

Viveca was the daughter of Karin Emilia Therese (Dymling) and Axel Torsten Lindfors. She had a son with her former husband, German-born actor, cinematographer, and film director Harry Hasso; a daughter, publisher Lena Tabori, with her former husband, Swedish lawyer, chess official, player, and arbiter Folke Rogard; and a son, actor Kristoffer Tabori, with her former husband, American film and television director and producer Don Siegel. Her children took on the name of her fourth husband, Hungarian writer and theatre director George Tabori. She became a U.S. citizen.

Viveca’s paternal grandfather was Axel Otto Lindfors (the son of Johan Otto Lindfors and Charlotta Cecilia Johanna Forshäll/Forshaell). Axel was born in Lunds domkyrkoförsamling, Skåne län. Johan was the son of Anders Otto Lindfors and Maria Margareta Arenberg. Charlotta was the daughter of Johan Henrik Forshäll, whose father was born in Lojo, Finland, and of Cecilia Unger.

Viveca’s paternal grandmother was Gerda Lejla Kristina von Porat (the daughter of Axel Isak/Isac von Porat and Nathalia/Natalia Christina/Kristina Fredrica/Fredrika Meyer). Gerda was born in Drakkulla, Myresjö, Småland, Sweden. Axel was the son of Olof Magnus von Porat and Juliana Sofia Sjöbeck. Nathalia was the daughter of Ernst Fredrik Meyer, who was born in Hamburg-Harburg, Germany, and of Christina Catarina Tauson.

Viveca’s maternal grandfather was Johan/John Fredrik Dymling (the son of Otto Hartvig/Hartwig Dymling and Therese Matilda Agrell). Otto was the son of Johan Ludvig Dymling, who was from Stralsund, Vorpommern, Germany; and of Anna Christina Hasselgren. Therese was the daughter of Olof Fredrik Agrell and Fredrique Fredrika Enbohm.

Viveca’s paternal grandmother was Anna Maria Lundström (the daughter of Nils Nilsson Lundström and Emilia Mathilda/Matilda von Hedenberg). Anna was born in Byske, Västerbottens län, Sweden. Nils was the son of Nils Persson Lundström and Fredrika Jonasdotter Risberg. Emilia was the daughter of Col. Carl August von Hedenberg and Hedvig Sophia/Sofia Christina Lyström. Col. Carl’s maternal grandfather, Viveca’s great-great-great-great-grandfather, Adolf Ludvig/Moses Marcus Levin, was born in Friedrichstadt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, to Danish Jewish parents.
