I don’t understand why whenever a black person claims they are mixed, it is not accepted. Chinese genes are not as dominant, and will not show as much as, persay, Korean genes. That is why Kimora Lee Simmons looks asian more than Tyson does.
It is believable that Tyson is part Chinese because in Jamaica, there are quite a numerous amount of Chinese people, and it’s quite common there to have many mixes.

I am mixed with African(Somalian), Cherokee, English, and Bengali but I look straight black therefore I should deny my ancestry because I dont look the part or because my skin is only at medium tone not high yellow? alot of jamaicans are mixed with chinese, and people are not as racist there as they are in america. the chinese openly marry black jamaicans there, and there arent as many barriers.

actually, is Jamaican. He was born in St. Ann, Jamaica and moved to the US as a teenager before getting discovered. As far as his mother anf father, I don’t know what nationalities they are.

Personally, I Think that Tyson has unique features that make him very attractive and hence are responsible for his successful modelling career. Whether he has ’1/4 Chinese’ in him or not, I still sense something different yet interesting about him, which in my opinion is only a positive think. Instead of looking for things that make him and even ourselves different, I think that we should look for the similarities between us because we are all more alike and closer than we sometimes care to think.
P.S. Race and Ethnicity aside, he is one incredible good-looking man!

Why is this such a big issue? Black mixes come out all types of ways, two offspring of the same parents can look completely different. Does it matter who’s side has what and what the percentages are? Take Wentworth Miller for example, looking at him he looks like a normal white guy but he’s biracial. So why can’t a dark skinned guy be multiracial?

even though it’s not often taught Africa was a revolving door.Not only did they take Africans out ,but they also brought Asians and white in.Plus Black Asiatic people came back to africa on their own.Now because of climate ,some Africans over time have developed those eyes.China and Africa are no strangers to each other.Chinese people are descendants of Africans.Also with back migration,there are many tribes that have that asian lineage.I also forgot about the chinese live in East African in ancient times.
