Tyler James Williams is an American actor, hip hop recording artist, martial artist, musician, music video director, film director, and graphic designer. His roles include the films Unaccompanied Minors, Let It Shine, Tyler Perry Presents Peeples, Dear White People, Detroit, The Wedding Year, The Argument, and The United States vs. Billie Holiday, and the series Sesame Street, Everybody Hates Chris, Go On, The Walking Dead, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Whiskey Cavalier, and Abbott Elementary. He is also known as Tyler Williams, Tyler J. Williams, and T.J. Williams.

His brothers are actors Tyrel Jackson Williams and Tylen Jacob Williams. He is the son of Le’Roy Williams, a police sergeant, and Angela Williams, a singer and songwriter.
