Major Tim Peake is a British author, Army Air Corps officer, and European Space Agency astronaut. He was an International Space Station (ISS) crew member. He is the first British ESA astronaut.

Tim is the son of Angela and Nigel Peake. He was raised in Westbourne, West Sussex. He is married to Rebecca, with whom he has two children.

Tim’s paternal grandfather was Ralph Peake (the son of Arthur Henry Peake and Hetty Lattaney). Ralph was born in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. Arthur was the son of James Ashman Peake and Sarah Hancock. Hetty was the daughter of George Lattaney and Elizabeth Stevens Mardon.

Tim’s paternal grandmother was named Marion R. Longley.

Tim’s maternal grandfather was Walter E. Maynard (the son of Frank Edwin Maynard and Beatrice Maud Plympton). Walter was born in Christchurch, Hampshire, England. Frank was the son of Edwin Maynard and Sarah Haynes. Beatrice was the daughter of Walter Plympton and Elizabeth Ann Penny.

Tim’s maternal grandmother was Ivy Kathleen Warne (the daughter of Edmund George Warne and Mabel Fanny “Birdie” Davis). Ivy was born in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England. Edmund was the son of Frederick George Warne, whose mother was of half Cornish and half Welsh descent, and of Annie Rose Stiff. Mabel was the daughter of John Henry Davis and Mary Elizabeth Collett.
