Terry Kinney is an American actor and theatre director. His roles include the films Body Snatchers (1994) and Save the Last Dance and the shows Oz and The Watcher, as well as multitudinous stage performances.

Terry is the son of Betty and Kenneth Kinney. He has two children with his former wife, actress Kathryn Erbe.

Terry’s paternal grandfather was Lloyd H. Kinney (the son of George McCelland Kinney and Ida Ladora Hawkins). Lloyd was born in Illinois. George was the son of Edward Kinney, who was Irish. Ida was the daughter of Lewis Foster Hawkins and Martha Jane McDuff/Dove.

Terry’s paternal grandmother was Leona Mary Hopkins (the daughter of William Rasmus Hopkins and Gilla A. Bundy). Leona was born in Illinois. Gilla was the daughter of Bailey Davis Bundy and Eliza J. Allen.

Terry’s maternal grandfather was Frederick Herman “Fred” Eimer (the son of Conrad Eimer and Caroline Wipperman). Frederick was born in Illinois, to parents from Germany.

Terry’s maternal grandmother was Anna Rosina/Rose Feldman (the daughter of Bernard Albert Feldman and Elizabeth Boger). Anna was born in Illinois, to parents from Germany. Elizabeth was the daughter of Ferdinand Boger.
