Now America is called the melting pot,meaning a little something of everything is here.Now black people here can be mixed with anything,but the base is supposed to be of African descent.Now you put all that together and you have African American.Now whether you be Mulatto,creole, MGM,or just plain old black person,it a political umbrella term for us.Now if you don’t want to use the term,don’t.Unless I’m filling out a form,I don’t use it.I just say I’m black and call it a day.

He has enough admixture to be considered mixed. Seriously he is at least 40% white.

hey Mellow Yellow , I agree that he has Caucasian heritage too but If I think many of the African Americans on this site may have either Caucasian or Native heritage but its difficult to trace or prove. I think the term “African American” can mean someone of African and some other admixture.
