Another ancestor named Nicolas Knapp was born in England in 1592. She has other ancestors that trace their roots back to England in the 1500s. Through one of her father’s ancestors, Charles Douglass, there is a very very distant ancestor called Olof Thorsson, born in Offerdal, Jamtland, Sweden. Married to an ‘Elice’ also from Sweden.

Jen, I find House of Names a little inaccurate at times. But i think it can sometimes be a good reference.

Yeah..i was pretty surprised it was German…! It didn’t look it, so I wonder if hosueofnames has made a mistake ;)

Vacha is right on the Reno name being French. It was derived in the 1600s from Lewis de Reynaud who was of French descent.

Hey ethnic, I think she is Irish, English, French, Italian, and Scottish. My reason is because the last name Swift is Irish, The last name Thompson is English, The last name Reno is French, The last name Baldi is Italian, and Finlay is Scottish. So I think you should edit that I think that’s pretty reasonable.

Her name is Josephine Reno, the surname Reno is German according to houseofnames :)

Taylor also has scottish in her by the way ;-)

Haha, my great-grandmother is a Duff. =)

And her Italian surname is common in Northern Italy, so any “She doesn’t look Italian lol she’s blonde xD” Are kind of pointless. :P
But she does have an awesome heritage!
