Tara Strong is a Canadian and American actress. She is one of the most prominent voice over actresses of the early 21st century.

Tara is the daughter of Lucy and Syd Charendoff. She is married to American actor and real estate agent Craig Strong, with whom she has two children. She lives in Los Angeles, and has dual citizenship.

One of her grandfathers was a cantor.

Tara’s paternal grandfather was Jack Charendoff (the son of Josef Charendoff and Toby/Toba/Tillie Neiman). Jack was born in Ontario, to parents from Russia.

Tara’s paternal grandmother was Ida Gryfe (the daughter of Samuel/Sam Gryfe and Molly Monblat/Moonblood). Ida was born in Hamilton, Wentworth, Ontario. Molly was born in Botosani, Romania.
