Sheryl Lee Ralph is an American actress, singer, and activist.

Sheryl is the daughter of Ivy (Lewis) and Stanley Ralph. Her father was African-American and her mother was Afro-Jamaican. Some of Sheryl’s roots can be traced back to the Tikar People from Cameroon.

Sheryl is married to Vincent Hughes, a Pennsylvania State Senator. She has two children with her former husband, Eric Maurice.

Andy Allo is a Cameroonian-American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and actress.

She was born in Bamenda, Northwest Region, the daughter of Sue G. (Adams) and Andrew Allo. Andy’s father is Cameroonian. Andy’s mother is caucasian, and was born in Lodi, California, U.S. Andy has a sister, Suzanne. The family moved to Sacramento, California, when Andy was eleven years old.

Andy holds dual American and Cameroonian citizenship. Andy is pictured with her parents here.

Andy’s maternal grandfather was Christopher Norman Adams (the son of Christopher N. Adams and Mary E. Dalton). Andy’s great-grandfather Christopher was the son of Henry Adams, who was originally from Snowhill Townland, County Fermanagh, Ulster, Ireland, and of Susy Peck. Mary E. was from Angle, Pembrokeshire, Wales, the daughter of Thomas Dalton and Celia Longhurst; she moved to California with her parents at the age of ten.

Andy’s maternal grandmother was Viola Alma Woelmer (the daughter of Theodore F. Woelmer/Waelmeir and Mary Zabel). Theodore was the son of John Woelmer/Wollmer and Anna/Annie Kaper. Mary was the daughter of John A. Zabel, who was born in Louisville, Kentucky, to parents from Hesse, Germany, and of Magdalena Wortz/Woertz, who was originally from Baden (now Baden-Württemberg), Germany.
