Snooki, also known under her legal name, Nicole Elizabeth Polizzi, is an American reality television personality, television host, author, professional wrestler, and dancer. She appeared on the MTV reality series Jersey Shore, along with Deena Nicole Cortese, Pauly D, Sammi Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino, JWoww, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Angelina Pivarnick, and Michael Sorrentino. She is 4′8″.
Snooki was born in Santiago, Chile, and was adopted by an American family, of Italian heritage. She was raised in New York. She has stated that she had not met her biological parents at least as of the late 2000s.
Snooki is a self-proclaimed “guidette” who received her nickname “Snooki” in middle school, after the character “Snooki the Cootchie Crook” from the film Save the Last Dance, 2001.
Snooki is married to Jionni LaValle, with whom she has three children.

She is Italian-American if she is raised and adopted by Italian-Americans. Real Italian-Americans or Italians consider you family/Italian even if you do not have 100% lineage unless you join the mafia then you have to prove your 100%.

Snooki is not Italian.
She is full Chilean she was just adopted by Italian parents, being adopted does not make you a race she even admitted not being italian. Not surprising half the jersey cast isn’t even Italian some are just half. Also having Italian lineage in your family does not make you “Part” Cristina Ricci had an italian grandfather way back but everyone from then on married Irish/Scottish people which means Christina Ricci is probably only roughtly 10-5% Italian if she is any. In Chile there are Indians, Mestizos, Europeans, Middle Easteners. Some of my ancestors came from Germany in the 1900’s…In some places you see more Mestizos, in other places you see more European descended Chileans…These are some of the immigrants that came to Chile: Germans, English, Swiss, Jews, Italians, French, Basques, Spaniards, Palestinians, Lebanese, Croatians…Even today, there are lots of foreigners coming to live in Chile.
Chilean is a nationality and are commonly of mestizo(brown) or European descent. there are also NativeAmericans too. I even know a Chilean model Dominique Lattimore who is of African-American descent.
She can be from Sicily. My mother has her same surname and she comes from Sicily.
