This comment thread is delusional. I’m nearly 40% white and she looks more mixed than me and her mom is clearly not black. The delusion and denial of acting like mixed people don’t exist is insane. At this point denying significant admixture is just racist. The description needs to be fixed. Her mom is white/native Cayamamian, not afro. One drop rule toting racists.

I’m 100% certain she’s mixed. You must be dense if you think you can go to the middle of Nigeria and the average woman will look like her. In the Caribbean being mixed is nothing special, she’s just another mixed person it doesn’t take away her blackness.

There are definitely nigerian women that look like her and are not mixed. Maybe the features could be a bit different but there are Nigerians thst look mix and are not. I swear people are ignorant af about Africa’s diverse ethnic groups

Have you seen her mother? She is not far from being mistaken for white in Nigeria.

      • Multiethnicchick says:

No there aren’t. I put in Nigerian women in google and not a single woman who looks like Selita comes up. And none of the Nigerian women I’ve met in real life or who married into my family, look like her. The problem with people like you is that you’d rather have women like Selita or Zendaya represent blackness when Normani or Issa Rae look way more like the average Nigerian woman. You hate black features and want mixed people to desperately be the face of blackness. Same type of person who allowed a full white woman like Rachael Dolezal to claim black.
