In the article it says her dad is of Mexican descent. What that means is her dads parents were born in Mexico, but her dad wasn’t. Her dad was probably born in America.

As far as her skin color, she is half white and half brown. She is of mixed race. The reason she looks darker in this picture versus others is because she tans.
