Roberto Clemente was a Puerto Rican professional baseball player. He spent eighteen years playing right field for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Roberto is the son of Luisa Walker and Don Melchor Clemente. He was married to Vera Zabala, until his death. The couple had three children, including baseball broadcaster and player Roberto Clemente, Jr.

Roberto’s paternal grandmother was named Maria Clemente Sánchez.

Roberto’s maternal grandfather was Nicanor Aliceano Ceballos Walker (the son of Daniel Catalino Ceballos Osorio and Josefina Walker Borges). Josefina was born in Sumatra, Indonesia, the daughter of Justo Walker, who was from Saint Croix, Virgin Islands, and of Ysabel, who was from Sumatra.

Roberto’s maternal grandmother was named Juana Delgado Velásquez.

      According to one tree, Josefina was the daughter of Justo Walker, who was from Saint Croix, Virgin Islands, and Ysabel, who was from Sumatra. It doesn’t go any further.
